The big one got away
 

Went fishing 🎣 in 86 degrees Dam Site 21 this evening on a hot 🥵, sunny day with a strong southern breeze. No cars 🚘 were in the parking lot when I arrived and none were there when I left. Didn’t see any bank fishermen. 3 kayakers arrived late in the day. Saw one catch a bass. Threw out canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught and released two bluegills, two largemouth bass and two 13.5” brown bullheads. On my last cast of the day, a big fish 🐠 broke my 20 lb test line and stole my jig and hook.
