Killies???
 

Just wondering if anyone else has had difficulty finding them this year in bait shops? A few shops near Belmar have been out of them for a few weeks now (or had them very sporadically). I like using them under a slip bobber for fluke, but can't find them. Does anyone know why potters are having a tough time finding them this year? Any bait shops have them nearby? I know some will say to use Gulp (which I do) but slip bobber from shore works really well.

My friend who sets a couple pots around Manasquan said that it has been slow. He seems to think that the water where he traps has been a little cold and dirty from the rains. He said it should pick up with the hot weather.

I’m pretty sure it is spawning time for killys and that is why they don’t pot well now. Should be done making baby’s and hungry soon😎
