Lamprey eel attached to crappie

Went fishing 🎣 in 67 degrees Carnegie Lake this evening on a warm, sunny day with a light south wind. Only saw three other fishermen. Threw out canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught and released 10 white perch, 3 largemouth bass and a 12” gizzard shad with a 1/32 oz twister tail jig on 2 lb test line. Landed a 27” 8 lb 14 oz common carp with corn 🌽 bait. Caught nothing with my homemade corn meal bait again. While walking 🚶 back to my car to leave, I saw a fisherman catch and release a black crappie with a lamprey eel attached to it from the canal. Took a photo. Met two women from Hawaii via California and two women from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 in the parking lot. Caught 26 carp this year.
