The winner was the Musconetcong river with a whopping 52,000 trout !!! 2nd place with 36,000 trout the S/B Raritan river followed by 3rd place Paulinskill with 29,000 trout.
9000 trout for Lake Hopatcong.

Nj trout fishing is the biggest bargain in NJ fishing.
With spring and fall allocations they stock approx 7 trout per trout stamp sold.

There isn’t anywhere you can buy 7 trout for 10.50.
Matter of fact if buying from a hatchery’s a 1.5 # fish costs that .

Also goes to show how bad some fisherman are, as many guys catch hundreds of trout a season . So there are many that skunk it up.
