Caught 50 fish 🎣 this evening
 

Went carping in 69 degrees Carnegie Lake this evening on a warm, sunny day with a nor’wester small craft advisory. Was going to fish 🎣 the Millstone River but too many weeds were there. Young of the year herring and shad were jumping in the canal again. Mosquitoes 🦟 were biting. I killed two. A fisherman in a bass boat said that he caught nothing. Only saw three other fishermen. Threw out corn 🌽 for chum, then caught and released a 12” brown bullhead and 19” channel catfish with canned whole kernel corn 🌽 bait. Also caught and released 41 white perch to 9”, 3 bluegills, 2 black crappies, and 2 largemouth bass to 12”.
