4th and 5th report
 

Fluke fished in the manasquan river on foot 7/4 and had some success with mostly shorts with some maybe keepers mixed in (c&r session) the fish were aggressive but it was hit a spot and pull 3 or 4 out and it would go dead and you’d have to move.

7/5 hit a non sponsor fluke boat out of PPB, with the reports and south wind I knew it was going to suck but I could care less about fishing, beats work any day!

Fished hard, all day, for 5 shorts to show for it. Maybe saw a dozen shorts also pulled out. Think out of the 40 fairs there were only 2 keepers.

Only way is up from here! Didn’t break a single jig off so that was a nice surprise.

Seems like everyone is into the shorts this year. Many people complained about the slot regulations last year. I think it would have helped us this year since there are a ton of 17 to 18 inch fish being thrown back...
