Full moon on the shoals
 

Question for the board!

I have a trip on the Helen H 6/22-6/23 fishing the shoals for fluke. The full moon is 6/21. How much affect with the full moon play on the already hard current at the shoals? I have fished up there before and on usual conditions used 14-16oz lead. Do I need to plan for more?

regardless of weather conditions, it's always best to come prepared and having too much is better than not having enough. I try to be economical as well, but over the years, i've learned to remember the boy scout motto, especially on multi day trips

Bring the heavy stuff, Matt the mate is always happy to receive my care package of 28oz'ers. You can hit up Wesley the Tackle Guy (in classified) for the heavy weights, he has great inventory and prices.
