FISHERMEN/SATURDAYS FISHING REPORT
Nice day in the ocean once again...

Today we had more Ling & Whiting than Sea Bass. Read the hell out of the bait on a couple drops, the Sea Bass we did catch were stuffed with Sand eels. Only had 2 jiggers today which seemed to work much better than the bait.

16 year old Lexie took the Pool with a beautiful Sea Bass beating out a few very nice ling.

Weather looks great for the next several days.....Back at it in the AM.

Sailing everyday 7:30am-2:30pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rentals $10.

Your report shows how picky they are when zoned in on a different bait .
.
Tracey and I were in the same area as you this morning , actually within a hundred yards at times .

The whole area was drop and reel fishing for sea bass , fishing jigs .

We also had a few whiting on jigs , and a few small blues .
.
Took about an hour to pick through the sea bass to keep a limit of biscuits over 14” .
By the time we got back to Belmar there was over a pint of regurgitated sand eels in the livewell .
