I would actually go lighter. 15lb braid, or even 10lb. I have 10 on my spinning set up for ultra light bucktails. and I have 15 on my conventional.

Do yourself a favor and check out FINS Braid. It's USA made in Kentucky. Cant go wrong with any of their products....40g is excellent.

I’m using 20 suffix it seems to lay nice on the reel and casts well
