Trouting around

I had PTO to use up + this weekend so got a lot of trout fishing in different places.
Revisited a wild rainbow creek and did well
Hit some PA delaware tributaries and also in the poconos.
Ended up catching tigers, browns, rainbows, 1 brookie, 1 fallfish and 1 chub overall

nice fish, good to see brookies they are my favorite trout to catch. i lived near the frying pan river in basalt colorado with my brother chapin in 1987 to 1989 and we would get nice sized ones in that river.

looks cool, just looked it up online. Were the brook trout there more of a thing in the past? It seems they are less common now for the fryinpan river? I do know they were nearly declared invasive for that region since they compete with the native cutthroats/rainbows?

i am not sure about now but brookies were in that river and the roaring fork as well.we lived at the confluence of those rivers in basalt and there were small streams that had brookies in them as well. the cutthroats were in the high country above the ruedi res.
