89 fish
 

Caught 89 fish in flooded, 73 degrees Veterans Park Lake this evening including a 3.5 lb mirror carp, 3 lb common carp, and 3 hybrid sunfish with canned whole kernel corn on 4 lb test and a #14 gold treble hook with no bait on 2 lb test line. A single kernel of corn worked best. Gave some fish to Shanghai Jack. He caught a brown bullhead with corn bait and sunnies on a Panther Martin spinner. Sunnies are still spawning. Both of my fishing spots are still underwater so I tried a new spot this year. Ultralight fishing is lots of fun. Carp make many long runs.
