Figuring out a new spot
I've been poking around the NWNJ bodies of water trying to find some more go to spots and stumbled across something pretty interesting. On my first visit I fished it for an hour and a half with nothing but a single bite to show for it, but thought this could be a good one to return to soon.
Went back this Sunday afternoon and it was really showing its true colors; I saw lots of large pan fish and some bigger bass as well. Ended up with 2 decent bass and 2 good crappie in a quick 2 hour trip, some of the most vibrant Black Crappies I've ever caught. It was a crazy Spring for sure ! The bite was on then off again , hard to judge a place when it's like that. Good thing you stuck with it!
