no, but i know a few people who have. It's a much longer recovery versus the knee and/or hip. Take your time. Do exactly as the surgeon says.. Then do exactly what the physical therapists say. Be diligent and PATIENT. The shoulder is waaaaay more complex than other joint replacements.

May god bless you in your recovery time. Hope all goes well and you can get back on the water soon, but just as jigman said stick to your doctors orders and take your time with physical therapy. get well soon.
