Swartswood contest, week 3! 2/20
Hit the lake bright and early for the contest Sunday. This time I was alone as Chase was up partying all night Saturday. Crazy kids! Blah! There was 7.5 inches of ice where I set up over some deep water near a drop. Action was good all morning with Perch coming through every hole as well as an ok sized LM with a Pickerel here and there. Had one Pickerel around 24 inches but not super fat. Let it go as I felt it wouldn’t have been a money fish. Action died completely in the afternoon when the wind came up. Boring afternoon and I definitely missed my right hand man. Hope to get em’ out before baseball is in full swing! It’s coming soon and so is open water season. TIGHT LINEZ!!!:D

Hey man you should have put that perch in the first photo on a tip-up you might have had a chance at a walleye. That slime dart was not to bad you should have weighed him in and that bass was nice as well. At least you beat the skunk, does not look good for the last sunday contest the ice is taking a beat down everywhere.

Nice action and good report. I was on Little Swartswood and had no flags but jigged up some micro gills and perch. Still a fun day out on the ice. Great to support the club.

Nice bass. Was the hotdog your lunch or were you going to use it for some catfish?!
