3 day weekend ice report
 

ice fished the last 3 days, headed out late morning saturday with squatch and the action was so insane it took us hours to get our 4 tipups each in the water! even after it slowed down enough to get them all in without flags popping it was another hour or too before i could even start jigging! Once we started jigging, the jumbo perch were ready to play too. Great day of action with mostly small to avg slime darts, but plenty of jumbo perch and a nice bass and slab crappie as well.

sunday after early morning the fishing was extremely slow and didn't pick up again until it started getting dark and even then it was drop and real but only small gills and perch.

Monday afternoon i rechecked the ice. it was sloppy as hell, but didn't lose much if any thickness and the edges were all good so out i went again and slammed a bunch of jumbo perch on jig and tipups along with pickerel.

Way to catch em’ you madman. Beautiful assortment of NJ fish. Looks like we’re in really good shape weather wise!!!FLAGGGGG!!!:D

Appreciate the monday report. Sounds like the wind and rain we got down here didnt have much of an affect on the ice.

nice fish the perch are on the feed. i found some crappies to play with as well they kept moving around from hole to hole i would get two or three and would have to move sounds like you guys had your hands full nice:cool:

it definitely did on some places, too many variables.... every place is different, be careful. was out yesterday night on a bigger lake and most of the area was fine, but people's old holes were like little mines that your foot would go through.
