Annual Send for Scott
 

Every year on my dad's birthday I go out for some Trout fishing therapy. For those who don't know, we lost my father to suicide in 2016. I do this trip yearly to memorialize him and honor one of his favorite things to do.

This year was frigid and I explored some new water close to home. A lot of slipping and scrambling on the snow/ice. Saw some good looking holes but nobody was home.

Great post. Your head is certainly in the right mode. Although the fish didnt cooperate today they have before for you and will again from reading your reports .

Regardless of how the fishing was this is such a great way to honor your dad. Fishing is about more than just catching a fish :)

Even on tough days our heart allows us to remember the good as much as the bad.
