Been playing with the Tog all over the place lately. Kinda thinking I’m in love with these guys. The action has been very good and the fight on the Togs is a good time for sure. Such scrappy fish and they definitely keep you on your toes. No keepers today but I’ll keep giving it hell til that 14.95 incher turns into a 15. LOL! Sheeeesh! TIGHT LINEZ!!!:D

That coast guard boat was headed out to a boat that took on water off Long Branch. Boat was effed but 3 rescued.

Oh man! Glad they got out ok. I saw the State trooper boat fly out right after the Coast Guard. That boat is insanely fast. Holy cow!

i guess that must've been the submerged 24' grady white that the USCG was broadcasting notifications about all day. glad to hear they were rescued. just googled it now and there's a video from the helicopter over the grady: https://www.dvidshub.net/video/81344...nch-new-jersey

there was also an alert about a 16' boat in the water with 3 aboard in raritan bay near buoy 20, saw the USCG chopper flying over a little while afterwards. sure hope those guys were ok too, but didn't hear anything afterwards and couldn't find anything with google. SCAs are no joke!

Nice going. Definitely a ton of fun to catch on jigs and light tackle.
