Upper Barnegat Bay Fluke
 
Still plenty of fluke in upper Barnegat Bay. I fished from a land based spot and had steady action with fluke (2 keepers right at 18) and a bunch of shorts. My son took his boat out this evening and fished just offshore of where I fished and put a beating on them. All of the fluke both my son and I caught were caught on a soft plastic (GULP, Zoom,ZMan) on a light jighead.

In addition, a guy next to me caught a few dozen blowfish.

Nice. I love that shallow water bite more than fishing deep. More enjoyable. To me anyway
