Big moon.... big pond...big crappies!!!

Big moon equals big fish again and again... with the ice gone and water up a little bit higher me and old man rocco headed out. We started where we got em good last week but it was hammered with guys. The ice was gone and I wanted to scope a few other spots throughout the day, every spot we went to we found em.. all nice bigger fish then the last few trips. Some these big girls looked like they swallowed a golf ball. Weeded through the breeders and tossed plenty of fish back throughout the day. Now is the time fellas and perfect time to take a kid fishing and get in on this action.

Slab-tastic!
Any general pointers or tips you can share about finding them n catching em at the big pond? Do you target coves or open water? Sonar? Jig under floats?

Shallow mucky/weedy coves, mr crappie bobbers work the best I think and are easy to see I feel. Jig it couple times and let it sit. Pretty easy once ya find them..

Well done capt mikey those fish look good, the action is picking up good now. If the water level comes up a bit by next weekend the bigger fish can move into some of the shallow coves.
