cranberry lake ice report
I went to cranberry lake today and found that it had 6" to 8" of ice that place froze in stages, around the shores and in the coves the ice was a bit thicker than the middle of the lake. I fished from 8:00am till 12:30 the snow started around 10:30 and was coming down steady so i left early. when i got to the parking lot the parks and forestry truck was just getting there to plow the lot so i am guessing he was glad to see me leaving. I did manage to get 1 slime dart, 5 sunnies and one perch on jigs the fish were glued to the bottom and would only come up about half a foot to hit the jig there was a few other guys fishing there today as well. also glad to see no trash in the lot.
