can you ice fish budd lake, if u can is it safe to do so there? looking to do some ice fishing tomorrow and dont know any spots

Just passed lil Swartswood. Tons of people on it. Fishing and just having fun on sleds. Dogs out...etc.

Buds lake is good if you get on by the Castle. Stay away from the beach side and Rt 46 side. Get the biggest shiners you can find and set em down 5 feet on Budd. You should catch Pike and Pickerel.

Lil Swartswood has stocked Trout, Bass, Musky and small panfish. You can have a blast out there jigging for Trout and setting up tip ups for other critters! Be careful man! Good luck!
