Ice still not great, but the crappie don't care
 

Disclaimer: ice still not safe, do not attempt if not experienced and confident! .... that being said, i'm fishing!

Ice still mostly semi-soft on top. not going to survive the warm rain tomorrow so i'm out every day taking advantage. These are from monday, all jigging with spoons and tungsten jig heads into the darkness.

nice! :D you wear the waders + life vest or is that just snow pants? I wasnt sure what to wear for my lower half while out there.

no don't wear your waders. those are just warm overalls. I had the vest on when i checked the area and just never bothered to take it off

Nice crappies Chris glad to see they are hitting as for the slime dart you can have all of those for yourself i hope that i do not see to many of those things when i get a chance to do some jiggin.. The vest is a good idea for extra warmth as well, not that it is that cold out lately. have you fished any water over 6' deep?
