Very nice lmb.. The old trusty carolina rig with glass bead is a good method for getting those tough bite bass to play nice well done:cool: I usually use lizards on that rig when the bass want to be picky.

Thanks everyone! I’m having a great time in freshwater with the kayak. I’ve fished the salt for a long time and decided to get back into freshwater this year. Every time out I learn something new. I’m gonna install a fish finder this week and then watch out hybrids! I’ve tried a good bunch of lakes this year and I’m definitely gonna make spruce run my home lake!
Ice badger, that’s exactly what I had, a glass bead, and I read somewhere to leave a little space between the bead and the swivel so it makes a clicking noise.
I was actually switching between the worm and a power bait lizard.
Thanks again for all the nice comments, I appreciate it!
