Manasquan River Fluke

Did a quick 2 hour afternoon trip with Jason on the Manasquan today. Stayed off the main river channel and concentrated on some of the feeder/side channels and docks. Fished in anywhere from 4-6’ of water. We both used tackle more suited for trout fishing and thus were able to finish with 1/2-3/4 ounce jig heads. Combined for 12 fluke (no keepers) but most of them were over 16”s to 17.75”s. Made one stop on the edge of the main river channel on the way in and added another short.
