Any surf action?

I always enjoy reading these boards at the end of a long day. Good to see some positive posts recently during these strange times. I fished around 5pm the past few days for about an hour and a half near Lavallette. Few small rays yesterday and nothing today. Anyone run into anything good in the surf?

Tight lines for everyone heading out this weekend.

I fished the other night and had non stop blow fish in Lava. Fished yesterday with plugs and nada.

I fished the sea bright/sandy hook area today from dawn till about 11:00, struck out with everything i tried, eel imitations until first light, poppers, plugs , and swim baits. no touches. i didn't see any bait in the surf either. beaches were getting really crowded as i was leaving. Lets hope they stay open!

Fished IBSP Sat morning 6:30-10:30. No bites on clams outside of 1 ray, tried throwing bucktails as well. Lots of dolphins and ospreys, beautiful morning.

Landed a small striper off the beach near Lavallette yesterday afternoon and another today. Both on clams. Nothing big but always fun pulling them in. The one today shattered my sand spike when it hit, had to sprint and grab my rod before it got swept out to sea.

Hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the weather this weekend.
