On another note I would implore all anglers to fill out the following:

In the comment section you can add that you could NOT fish due to COVID 19. This goes for the Charter fleets as well if not more so.

The fish landing surveys have been shut down and my understanding is that no data is worse than the suspect data that has been used in the past. With no data they will be even more cautious on regs so fill out this form as often as possible to document reduced effort

the alternative is they will figure private boats caught way more than actual. Last year they determined land based fluke anglers caught more fish than the entire for hire fleet.
DO NOT ASSUME that if the for hire fleet isnt fishing that lack of effort will be accounted for
