Raritan bay from shore
 

Ok
It seems like everyone is going to enter the game soon
So here is a summary of the last month
From shore anyway
Been out 3 days a week
Bunker have become scarce
Saw some bass Monday
No kidding - saw a large 22 inch plus fluke take a metal lure
And heard of a few bluefish caught already
After the warm winter this is no surprise but I can confirm it
Bass were biting like crazy 2-3 weeks ago but died out
I suspect they were spawning and should return any minute in force
Hopefully with he huge amount of bunker that also disappeared

Yup, first 3 weeks of April were dynamite for me. Bunker thinned out 7-10 days ago and the fishing has been slow since.
