looking for a spot in ocean county to take wife and kids to catch some little rats or snappers. Maybe off a bridge somewhere. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Joe when they are running in Point Pleasant by the rr tracks on Broadway with an out going tide used to be hot, their is a small parking lot (county lot) right next to Spikes Fish market

Way too early for snappers and almost every public park/area is closed. The only public spots that I know are are fishable are; The jetties at Shark River Inlet, both sides of the Pt. Pleasant Canal north of the Rt. 88 bridge and the walkway behind the condos that used to be the old Pt. Pleasant hospital.

Isn't there an old bridge they kept open for fishing around Manahawkin or toms river
