Does anyone know if theres any stripers in the ocean from Spring Lake to Seaside. Looking to get out for some social distancing. Thanks

2nd hand info, but my undertstanding is that there are shorts around.. Clams w a fish finder rig would be the ticket... Looking to give it a shot myself... Looking for a sunny day, light west wind, 2 hours before and 2 hours after high tide.

IMO we should see a wave of the first fish that spawn in the Chesapeake coming through in the next week or so .

Been very little bait Oceanside the last week . We need bait inshore or those fish will pass through outside the fence

2weeks ago barnegat bay was choked with bunker, now none that I can find. Heard rumors of lots of birdplay out front down here also. But it seems without the partyboat reports no one knows what to do.

Maybe but then there a month early. Also if the restrictions ease up and the weather gets nicer wouldn't you like to see an old fashion June ocean run?

Sal June runs were very well known .
But while guys were beating them up in RB , we had a jig bite on BIG bass last 2 weeks of April through mid May that many weren’t fishing .
Bite was so good in bay , not many guys were fishing out front .
Usually only 7 to 10 boats on them an it was crazy fishing .
.
Been about 3 years since we had that early bite .

But scenes like this were nightly
