Winter Flounder Limit Sunday 4/5
 

Fished for a couple hours Sunday afternoon, 30 bucks worth of worms and chum. Landed a 14 inch flounder early and another 16 inch later as the tide slowed down. Fish were nibbling most of the day very lightly were not committing. Water was between 46 and 49 climbed as the tide went out. Fished by the canal, a lot of salad to deal with while the tide was running. It was great to get out !!

You don't see a flounder limit too often. $30 for two small fish like that though is a killer. I miss the 10 fish limit they had a decade ago.

I put alot of time in the past couple days trying for some land based Flounder. Saw a few caught by other anglers as well as some Blackfish and Bass, but my number never came up and it was pretty slow overall. The best one I saw came up on a bait attached to a chumpot.
