union county crappie spots

Hope all is well. Looking for the location of some decent crappie/perch waters in union county. Looking to get my son into some better action then bluegills and an alternative to trout. Thanks and good luck!

Re: union county crappie spots

The south end of Nomahegan Park Pond across from Union County College is full of them. I can't keep them off a size 16 bead head wet fly when I've gone there in May to practice fly casting/test rods. You will probably see a very well fed Heron on a waterside stump near the woods. Meal worms ought to work just as well.
