Big Browns and bows (3/21 - 3/22)
Saturday 3/21/2020
Got out early to avoid the crowds, and headed to a local New Jersey stream for some trout fishing. All browns for me today, with a few big fish in the mix. The biggest of the day crushed my lure out of nowhere, and proceeded to scream drag and jump like a maniac. An awesome fight on the light gear. https://i.postimg.cc/PJFwBH5L/20200321_183828.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/LXxY1Sfy/20200321_180332.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Hxz59XG9/20200321_184037.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/504QyyHY/20200321_180113.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/c1DwKRBs/20200321_175835.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/tg0hq9tW/20200321_185757.jpg Sunday 3/22/2020 Wasn't planning on fishing today. Spent the day cleaning and grocery shopping, but decided at 4pm to get in a few casts before dark. I'm glad I did. The rainbows and browns were fired up, completely crushing lures. Landed multiple rainbows and browns in about an hour fishing. https://i.postimg.cc/G2dGDzfp/20200322_194619.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/KvHPWP19/20200322_194651.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/bNWngq5W/20200322_194711.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/MKvR1n91/20200322_200158.jpg |
