Fishing flea markets best bet , most current straight thru ! Some custom rod company still may build those models . Check various rod companies on line , may find several that do !
If your going to rail rod tuna make sure foregrip Is long with room to spare mounted on rail , to fight a fish .

Thanks. Looks like a lot of online picking about to find anything. Going to the Keys and the two stand-ups we have are 6 feet long. Haven't yet determined if it's really a problem getting the rod tube--stretched to about 82 linear inches--aboard United. The limit is 62 inches, but I asked them awhile ago about 72. They said 50-dollar fine. Maybe it's no more money for 82. Some big fish scout that reef edge....

I've taken long rods with me before and I've always had to check them. They usually come out on the over-sized baggage carousel with golf clubs, skis and the like. And yes, you're likely going to have to pay $50 each way to check them...
