11/2/2019 - CJST partnered with The Nature Conservancy at the former Columbia Lake restoration site along the Paulinskill in Knowlton. We only had 9 volunteers today but they were all seasoned veterans of past cleanups so still had a pretty good haul. The river was higher from the rain on Thursday so we couldn’t get some of the larger items in or near the river that were spotted in the summer.

The haul included 14 tires, a boat, 3 large section of carpet, a newspaper vending machine, a plastic table, two mud flaps, and lots of miscellaneous junk.

Our next cleanup will be on December 8th with the Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership in Green Brook along the Green Brook.

Nice. Cant wait for the area to open to the public. Looks like a nice stretch to fish.

Should be some spawn run browns up in there by now.
