Weekend report NY/NJ!!!

Three weekends in a row up there for me . With the lakes back home in nj still haven’t turned over yet I decided to head back up state again. Me duck or bleed and my buddy from work back for revenge looking to land his first salmon. Fished sat and Sunday hard, there’s still a ton of fish in the lower fly and altmar but these things are black and in pretty rough shape. Stuck it out and caught some fish there Saturday.... Sunday I was in search mode took a little ride where me and Eddie had em good last year around the same time got to the spot and no one in sight and some fresh fish in the hole. Around 12 all hell broke loose and a pod of 30-40 fish came flying up through the rapids and slid into the pool. My buddy mike had no problem landing his first one ever and n the fly rod and is now hooked on fishing upstate. Monday I had off and snuck out for a small session on the south branch and stuck one small bow and saw a lot of fish swimming around chasing each other. Water is super low WE NEED RAIN!
