Ramapo river clean up Sept 21:
 

Cleanup will be held on Saturday September 21st. Anyone who can lend a hand is welcome to join. Area of river to be cleaned will include Ramapo College.

We will meet at the Halifax Road parking lot Mahwah by the Ramapo River at 10am.
Thank you to all who can attend.

Figured I would start a new thread on this one.

Thanks Andy,

We will have a boat and two kayaks to work with
For anyone who can join:
The River is running cool, bring waders if you want.
Weather should be sunny and warm
Food (sandwiches)will be provided

We welcome anybody who wants to help. Thank you all.

I never thought picking up garbage would be fun , but it was a neat adventure exploring the river and hunting for trash. Nice meeting you guys.

It was a great time Brewlugger, thanks for helping out.
We got the axle out towards the end too!
For the amount of time spent, this was a big haul.

Not sure why some of the things we find by the waterways even make it there!?
