Fisherman hospitalized after falling on jetty?

Anyone else hear about this? If true, hope all is well and they'll be fishing soon

A wave washed a fisherman off the 8th Street Jetty in Avalon today. The jetty is the longest on the south side of Townsends Inlet.

Unfortunately it looks like the man didn't make it, even with the help of two friends/bystanders.

RIP to a fellow fisherman out doing what he loved. Always use extreme caution when fishing this spot, it's incredibly dangerous.
