Party boat that was "safety checked" a while back?
 

I thought I read about it on this forum, but I could be mistaken.. I seem to recall a local party boat was boarded with a full boat of paying customers and detained for a fairly long time while the CG or Marine Police, whatever ,checked things out... does anyone remember this topic or the boat?... NOT talking about the boat that was busted by DEC a while back, just the one that was checked for USCG compliance while fishing with customers...

Last season we were boarded while on the Prowler just inside NY waters by NY marine police and fully checked out.That might be the one you are referencing since it was posted..all was ok but there were in full body attire like a swat team..kinda scary have it happen to us..they were following the boat to see when we entered NY waters to make their "attack". I have been fishing all my life and first time for that..

Right in the middle of catching...possibly 20 minutes..coolers were checked too...downstairs & upstairs..all boat documents were also checked..I was told that NJ boats were allowing illegals to get to NY on board???? that I don't believe...I have the boarding on my phone for kicks...
