Is crabbing good in the Navesink yet?

Thinking of taking my 7yr old crabbing out of the red bank boat rentals. Has the crabbing action picked up yet in the Navesink? He wants to go on a fluke charter (he’s been going the past 2 yrs and loves it) but I know it’s been slow and needs more time to heat up.

Thanks.

No the Sink stinks. Still cold water with lots of sea cabbage. PM me?
