Folks landed one off the surf in Florida a while ago for the first documented catch off the beach.

These guys are the real deal and have won several Shark Tournaments, sounds like they are getting overwhelmed by all the publicity... Just saw their story on Fox National News this morning as part of a segment on the 3 Shark attacks in NC...

saw a news preview last night on one of the local tv stations:

newscaster says "shark attacks fishing boat off the nj coast, story at 11"

had to laugh out loud...

For those of you who are interested in a good read check out the book Close to Shore... This is the novel that accounts events that took place in NJ back in the summer of 1916 which was the inspiration for the movie Jaws..

The attacks were in LBI, Spring Lake and the last one took place in the Keyport Area all the way in the back of Matawan Creek :eek::eek:

I saw a Great White a few miles off Sandy Hook back in 2010. It's really not nothing new!
