Sea Hunter, Monday 6/17

1st, a quote from Capt. Rob: “Our local fishing has remained pretty much the same this year. There has not been many Fluke around. We pick at shorts and a very odd keeper. The good news is it sounds like some Fluke are moving into our range. I will know better our next trip out. See you soon, Capt. Rob”

Next my report: I thought fishing was better than what Rob implies. I caught 1 keeper, 20-1/2" and 8 shorts. Also, 3 smooth dogfish bent the rod. We fished a variety of areas, mostly shallow, where bucktailing was effective. In fact, the keeper hit a 2oz bucktail w/ Gulp. The shorts liked spearing on a teaser hook.
