SHAD RUN still not over
 

Headed above the gap this morning with my buddy Scott .

river finally way down , but still stained .

made a few moves finding fish at each .

third spot it got consistant with lots of doubles .

would only go five to ten minutes between fish .

couldnt ask for a nicer day , slight breeze , not Africa hot .

headed in at noon .

Heard very few reports on here about shad fishing the Big D this year. I think the endless rain and high muddy river kept everyone home.
Glad you got out caught some !

Sounds like a great day on the river, tough weekend to be out but sounds like you hit it right !

They’ve gotta be stacked in certain holes north of the gap! Definitely not over with the cooler temps and rain we’ve had! Sounds like you found em Cap’n! Shad kick ass!:D
