Black Drum and Walleye: Recent Trips

Got an invite last Friday from a friend for an evening trip for black drum. I've never caught one, so I jumped at the chance. It was a little slow, but I managed a nice fish right at sunset.

Got out on Monday on the Tin Can with Chrisper for a quick walleye trip. We did pretty well, and Chrisper had 4 hybrids and two walleye and I managed three walleye and a hybrid.

Damm! That thing looks a giant Nile Perch! Was that from local waters? Another off the bucket list. Way to go.

Killer pics man! Never drum fished before but read plenty. This a anchor up or drift? Clams on a fishfinder rig?

Amazing backdrop with that drum. Do people eat those things, or just for sport?
