After work Saddle Report
 

After work yesterday I hit up the Saddle River for the first time ever. Interesting river, very clear water with a mostly sandy bottom where I fished. Walked as far as I could upstream and fished on the way back down. I saw tons of life both in and out of the water. I threw spinners for awhile with no love, switched to a plug and got no love there either. Tied on the trusty trout magnet and was able to land 2 rainbows and a creek chub. It was a nice little session, I love that it stays light enough after work to fish again. Tight lines!

Nice trout there. Get pics of the river itself? What else swims in there?

Thanks for the report. I'm surprised you didn't get any Brown trout in there.

I was hoping I would find some browns, but no dice. Maybe I was too far downstream? I think I'm going to head back later this week and do some more exploring.

No other pics, working against the clock i totally forgot about taking more pics :D Saw lots of micros scooting around the bottom.
