Tougher troutin’
 

Streams came up enough to discolor made me head north to seek out cleaner water .
Many had the same idea I guess so overall I worked overtime for 6 fish missing a handful ! Surprisingly enough half of them were tagged in a heavily discolored stream go figure !
I only fish lures so water clarity even when high is a plus for me !

On a positive note the high water has really spread the fish out. I had really good fishing yesterday on a small stream and today on atypical NJ river. The fish were really well dispersed away from the stocking points. Get out and walk away. Best part was I didn't cross paths with another fisherman either day.
