500 size reel recommendations

Hey all, I have been using a Mitchell Outback 500 on my trout rod for years, it used to be my fathers until he passed and it was handed down to me. I have tried to keep up with maintenance but after tons of use over a looooong time i think it is finally on it's way out. I've been looking around at other reels but I'm having a tough time making a decision. I've looked at the pfluger president and the shimano sedona, but I haven't been able to find too many in the 500 series size. Anyone have any recommendations for a comparable reel?

i use a 1000 series shimano and a 25 series pflueger....gives me more line on the spool and a bit more power than the 500's
