Back in action this week again... Hit the north branch on Thursday to do some clean up of what was left from Wednesday stocking, made quick work with the powercheese in the waterfall hole had my limit and then some,kept one nice one close to 18-20” threw the rest back. Saturday I rested up and had the mamba out on a solo mission for a quick trip around the lake to see what’s been going on... hit three spots and had a eyeball at evreyspot, biggest went 24” and lost a nice one at the net dang treble hooks got caught on the net��. Made quick work and headed home for a 4 hour nap and turned and burned down to the valley for the first Rvta tourney of the year. Set up the spread in pea soup fog and worked the big pond slowly.... nabbed a holdover bow quick and the 6 lakers shortly after, 10 am I need one more rainbow to limit out!!!! Finally I get the bite and it’s a good one big ole bow! Freaking out! All over the place! Wrestle the beast into the net nice fish! Shortly after weighed in and the black mamba comes out on top 1st place laker 1st place rainbow.
