Quick Change Clip.... or whatever you call it

I've seen some people using those clips to change out plugs quickly when fishing in the surf. How does everyone feel about these? I saw someone using one in a video and it got me thinking. I usually tie directly to my lure, but that clip definitely saves time if there was a blitz going on.

To clip or not to clip? That is the question :D

Tactical anglers clip. I love them for bucktailing for fluke. I will say, I normally get the bigger clips, the 75lb+ model, reason being it’s easier on the fingers when grabbing and opening. They also work well for diamon jigs for blue fish. I have had good success with striped bass working a floating plug.

Used them in one shape or another for over a decade , no issues on inshore fish at all or even wrecking offshore . I prefer the spring type but both work well ! I believe they are sold by Bill Norman Co. These are In shore use only !

I've used the TA Clips for the last several years.
They make jig/lure changing very easy and have never failed.
50# for fluke & heavier for bass & blues.

I use them regularly while surf fishing for Blues. It just makes it easier to change rigs as needed..that is my two cents....RAMMIE is back at almost full strength and just about ready to hit the surf!!!! See ya all later....

I use them when jigging tuna...a quick change if others are hooked up & I'm not---probably I'm using something weird as an experiment that they don't like...

Tactical angler clips when plugging for stripers. Makes quick change really easy during a hot surf bite. #50+ size. I use 50s and 75s.

I dunno, I don't see a whole lot of advantage over a plain old snap.. You can change a lure with a snap in 5 seconds or so.. I mean does this thing cut it down to 4??.. Just wondering what the advantage is other than being 5 times the price of a snap...

Personally, I like the look of these better-

Yea, no. Def not. TA clips ain't gonna straighten out or open on you. Wire clips are for the birds. Too many bad stories of lost fish due to crappy wire snaps.

Just go TA.
