Looking for a rod to match a Van Staal VM150
 

My beautiful and highly intelligent wife has left me in a quandary. She presented me with a Van Staal VM150 for Christmas, however, I'm not sure what I want to use it for.

I already have a Shimano Stradic Ci4+ 4000 on a 7' Tsunami Airwave rod that she gave me 2 years ago that I use for Striper jigging and popping, I don't do any surf fishing, so....I'm thinking about using the new reel for tuna popping.

I realize it's a bit small, but I figure I can get around 300 yards of 60lb Jerry Brown on it and it's rated at 30 lb of drag, it might do pretty good.

What are some suggestions for a rod to match to this? Unfortunately, the mortgage still has to be paid, so I'm not in the market for a custom rod at this point.
