Hey Kevin...... Mrs. Clause let me take the new jigging rod gift for a trial yesterday on the Ocean Explorer. I jigged it all day.... 6 keepers and many shorts and busted off a couplle nice fish. Great feel and action..... I hope the link works.
If not.... go to Ocean Explorer facebook and click videos.... it is the last video posted...... I already have some ideas for my next custom jigging rod you guys will make for me..... Look how the whole rod works this fish in the video.
I paired this rod with a Penn Conflict 4000.... 20 lb suffix braid and 20 to 30 pound topshot....... I was able to get a 1.25 ounce jig down 60 feet and tickle the bottom nicely !!!! This rod also worked well with a 2 oz jig.
